Default Spammers

As you know spammers will always be around as long as there is the internet

There have been a few spam posts made on this site and our moderators have been doing a fine job of deleting those unwanted posts and banning those annoying users.

Spam will not be tolerated on this site but unfortunately our moderators and I are not online 24/7 to moderate these posts (although sometimes it would appear otherwise )...

So if you do come across a spam post, please DO NOT click on the links provided within these posts but please click on the "report post" icon within the thread to alert us of the spam post.

You can usually tell by the title of the post aswell so there isn't any need to open them. As Maverick says, do not click on the links or anything in the content of the post - it can only harm your PC.

Lastly...please do not comment the spam that is posted, however much it irritates you; it only brings the spam back to the top forum for everybody to see.

Thanks

Agreed, Thank you. It always a bigger pleasure getting to info quick that relevant, than sift through endless useless info...

In light of some recent spam troubles, can we ask that members report all spam threads by clicking the red warning triangle on the post control bar in the top right hand corner of the post (in between the post number and the picture of a computer).

A note to mods and newbies...... we need to be vigilant about who's posts get approved. A "Hi I'm new here and hope to get to know you" post is most likely a generic test to get approved. If a newbie post doesn't give specific info about their Flight Sim wants, experience, or knowledge, it should be DELETED.

Hi Guys,

This serendipity character also pm'd me. I simply ignored it at the time as was unaware of the reporting requirements. I shall endeavour to report any and all future occurances.

Cheers
